QUALITY & SAFETY
Quality is a state of mind
Thanks to a methodical and controlled approach combined with long-term experience and effective feedback from our workshop, we apply a dedicated computer program to define and confirm essential characteristics for each coil, such as its magnetic properties, wire current densities and insulation requirements.
In addition to the fact that our high voltage test procedures exceed the well-known IEEE procedure (IEEE 522-2004 IEEE Guide for Testing Turn Insulation of Form-Wound Stator Coils for Alternating-Current Electric Machines and IEEE 286-2000 IEEE Recommended Practice for Measurement of Power Factor Tip-Up of Electric Machinery Stator Coil Insulation), we are also ISO 9001 certified, ensuring the highest level of quality and the best consistency.
Strict procedures and an unrelenting focus on safety ensures that our employees can work safely.
01
All production procedures and quality instructions are available for all employees.
02
A competence matrix for all employees is updated on a regular basis.
03
Customer satisfaction surveys are taken twice a year. The results are displayed in the workplace.
04
We organise a toolbox meeting before the start-up of every new production.
05
Each coil is tested separately, electrically and on form and dimensions.
06
Training & drill exercises guarantees a safe working environment.
LEAN-managment
Since 2019 we invest fiercely in LEAN-management training.
“We've started our Lean Manufacturing Project in January 2019 to establish a value based production system and improve efficiency in all processes from product development to delivery. The main purpose of this project is to improve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery (SQCD) performance through a continuous improvement culture.
In the first phase of the project, we analyzed all our processes in detail with video analysis and value stream maps. In the second stage, we implemented lay-out changes, redesign of material flows and process improvements to reveal fast gains. At this stage, we have achieved improvements of up to 40% in total flow times and capacity utilization and 25% in labor costs. In addition to that, we have significantly improved customer satisfaction by developing our delivery and quality performance. Then we focused on standardization with lean tools such as 5S and Kaizen.
And today in order to ensure the sustainability of our achievements we continue our efforts to establish a lean culture.”
